I have been struggling with my seedlings, the wet conditions and a plethora of snails and slugs devouring everything.
Having tried copper, sea and egg shells I’ve now resorted to mini fruit cages covering everything.
Seedlings on the go: radish, beetroot, turnip, mangetout, pea, tomato, dill, parsley, coriander, spring onion and rocket.
Repeat sowings to come and seeds to plant: carota, spinach, thyme and salad.
Sadly, I had to transfer the poppies as they grew too large and became a hotbed of snails and slugs. Hoping the marigolds will flower soon. No sign of the sweet Williams sown last summer.
